Hi guys, so took my mk7 tsi to get serviced at a new place and they said that my mechatronic pan gasket is leaking. They gave me a quote to replace the pan gasket for $700. Wondering if this is necessary to fix or a big issue? If it is 3 hours labour a fair amount to be paying.

I have recently got my car serviced and the mechanic seems to have either not tightened the oil Plug properly or stripped the Threads.
So naturally the Oil leaks from the Oil Pan.
Normally I would do this type of work myself but was too busy. Now I am in this situation.....
