A little while back, my Passat B7 infotainment system decided to have a fit and reset itself. In doing so, it also set itself to German.

Managed to find a section to change to English but it says that the language is not available.

Ok guys. I've returned to the forum after a while because I figure this question had been answered/solved by now. It was my recollection that it was the consensus of Australian Golf owners that the speaking/voice command symbol on the steering wheel beneath the call button was DISABLED for use in Australia....

I've just purchased a new Golf 77TSI, and notice when I turn the car on or off, or if I try and start the car without the clutch depressed the MFD panel displays various text messages - however they are in German.

The owners manual indicates that this area of the MFD may be used to display...
