I have an intermittent problem (getting more frequent) where the ignition key won't turn to the 'on' position, it happens regardless of the steering lock being engaged or not. So far, when it happens I've able to jiggle the steering wheel or roll the van forward...

I have a pesky leak on the seal (not the main thermostat cover seal, which is relatively easy) but the pump/thermostat seal. The erwin manual describes a mind-numbing procedure which requires a 'second mechanic';...

Hi guys just had my MK6 golf gti serviced by a VW dealership and they found a small oil leak coming from the camshaft housing.
They have quoted me just over 3k to have it repaired.
They have said it's very labour intensive and they will need the car for 2 days.

My car's approx 10 months old and over the last month or two I noticed a crack on the fuel filler housing.

Yesterday the top pipe on the thermostat housing sheared off and all the coolant went too. I was just round the corner so just came straight back home with the temp light going crazy, probs 2-3 mins of slow driving.
Photo below shows the issue.

hey guys.

i accidentally cracked my LHS mirror LED strip by 1mm while exiting my garage..

it caught on the point where the LED strip points off off the mirror by 1 - 2mm and cracked the plastic off in that corner by about 1 1/2 inch and some plastic clip / attachment...

This is from a Golf 6

Has the control box, 5N0 035 342 B, the centre console housing, 5N0 035 341 C and a brand new, unused CarSystems.pl harness.

Chasing $120 but am negotiable. Will post at buyers expense
