Does anyone have any experience in transplanting a vr6 into a 2 door CL? What are registration requirements in NSW. Is it worth the hassle?

I am looking to do one of these, I think I have the part number, but just wondering if anyone has done one and if its worth the hassle and money. I believe it should be a direct fit and then some minor coding?
