The scuttle or gutter consists of 2 parts and there is a gap between part A and part B.
Is the gap normal or is the scuttle damaged?
When I wash the car, water goes through the gap and drips onto wires! I think at least 2 modules are damaged but I am not sure if this gap...

1.4TSi 90KW Spark Plug Gap
Hi All,
After searching high and low I have been unable to definitively find what the spark plug gap should be for my MK6 Golf 1.4Tsi 90Kw
I have purchased NGK PZFR6R spark plugs with are correct for my engine (CAXA) but I don't want to presume the electrode gap is correct....

Spark Plug Gap
Time to do my plugs on Stage 1 AGU 1.8T.
I have bought NKG V Power BKR7E (one step colder) but is 035" (0.9mm) gap ok.
Pretty sure I use these all the time, but I keep hearing about gapping to 0.28''?
Cheers

plug gaps
I was just reading a quote from an NGK FAQ where the advice was that in forced induction engines, you should reduce your plug gap by 0.1016mm for every additional 50HP you have added above stock.
The 1.8T comes with a recommendation for 28 thou (0.7112mm) gaps. Using my car as an example...

103 TSI DSG / Turbo lag
Hey all, not sure if this has been asked before, my quick search turned up nothing.
My 103 TSI wagon seems very reluctant to kick down when I try to slip into a gap in traffic in the next lane over that's moving a little faster. Often, I'll see a sizeable gab, indicate, apply additional...Last edited by agentthumb; 10-08-2015, 01:07 PM.

since then when cruising at low rpm with some load (around 1500) and going 50kmh, 60kmh, 70kmh; the car was making some noise as if the bearing was gone and it felt lethargic. i thought...Last edited by nat225; 05-07-2015, 10:46 PM.

G20 Public Holiday Cruise
It's been a while since I've organised a cruise (or been on Watercooled at all) and even though I now own a Subaru, I thought a nice drive to get out of the city would be good if you've got the day off and are hanging around Brisbane.
So here are the deets:
Where: The rooftop level...Last edited by maca; 08-11-2014, 09:34 AM.

AGU 1.8T in Mk4 Golf GTI - Reducing Plug gap with stage 1 tune?
Hi all,
Here's one for the gallery: I had a customer ask me yesterday if I could gap a set of NGK BKR7E plugs down to 0.7mm for her before I shipped them as she is running a stage 1 tune on a 1.8T AGU engine in a Mk4 Golf GTI,as she's been told that this is the usual thing to do.
