I see an thread similar to this from a few years ago, but I thought I would ask if I anyone has a good VW mechanic/service place on the southside of Brisbane to take my R36 and Treg?

I had been taking my car to Alba European for years, but he has now closed his business....

Our rear left door has an unlocking issue.

The door is closed and the inside and outside handle both wont open the door. I have tried, multiple unlock/re lock cycles, also tried a few hacks, like coat hanger wire in from the outside handle all to no avail.

I have managed...

After rain, I usually end up with water/condensation inside the right headlight.
Does anyone know what is causing this? The headlight supposed to be a closed unit, correct?

Howdy folks. I need to change the 7 pin socket on my tiguan tow kit to a 12 pin. the Tiguan has reversing sensors which are turned off by a switch on the plug. I bought a 12 pin socket from an auto shop however they have 2 types which work with reverse different parking sensor circuits.

Is it normal to be able to lock car if some one hasn't closed one of the other doors properly.
I realise it will show door is not properly closed on dash display but if driver gets out first it isn't noticeable.
I think mirror indicator may not flash but that is hard to see if you are not...

The tailgate on my 2004 Touareg wont latch closed - i.e. the motor usually pulls it closed the last centimetre.

The motor seems to release when you pull the tailgate handle.

Any ideas?

Anyone got any advice if this can be fixed outside of getting the dealer to fix it. tailgate opens and closed as it should however does not lock.
