I have just changed my tail lights to the hella smoked ones and since then, my central locking will not lock or unlock the doors. (4 door model)
I can still lock them manually from inside and the two front doors with the key. The fob does beep as if it’s locked, but the doors don’t lock,...

Can anyone guide me in the direction of a competent VW mechanic on the New South Wales Central Coast?

Central Locking and Fuel Flap Not Opening
Hey everyone,

Golf Mk5 GT been parked up for about 6 months as I got a new car. Battery obviously flat, so jump started car to find central locking no longer working, electric windows no longer working and also fuel flap will not open....

Does anyone have experience with tuners on the Central Coast or Newcastle NSW? Purchasing a Mk5 Golf GTi in the next few weeks and aiming to get a stage 1 tune from any of the main options (GIAC, APR etc)

Looking for the best expert in my part of the country to develop a relationship...

Hi all. Does anyone know where the siren is for the alarm.
Have had a look at the wiper motor section and cant see it. The ararm keep coming on as the central locking is sometimes playing up.

I am getting sick of disconnecting the battery amd of all the noise.

I posted on this some time ago mentioning I didn't feel confident pulling the latch/lock unit out. This is information only in case anyone else wants to.

- Central locking had failed, including window wind-up and rear door lock (no manual keyhole)
- Central unlocking worked fine...

Anyone got “background lighting” in the settings menu, and able to adjust the door/footwell lights independently (via the little settings buttons on the screen) send me a 09 central electronics obdeleven history backup (or vcds admap will be fine also) please

My daughter has just got a “new to her”first car, a 2008 9N 1.4l 3 door Polo.
Neat little car with not too much to fix on it.

im not sure if there is a problem wirh the central locking so hoping for some advice.

Doors lock fine when using the key externally and stay...

I have read heaps of guides and watched the You tube videos on how to set up Rain closing via VCDS.
I just cannot work it out.

My car is early model so do not have the newer BCM module, has the Bordnetz. I should be making changes in 46 Central Conv AND 09- Cent Elect.
VW Golf/Jetta/Bora...
