Intermittent Hesitation,jerking ,surging when cruising on light throttle.Sometimes an EML. Took it to local dealer who diagnosed a worn clutch. Didn't feel like a clutch problem to me.Anyway took it to German car specialist who read a P2188 code.Changed map sensor,car performance improved but problem persists.Contacted Skoda head office who had a word to original dealer.Car was inspected and a faulty throttle pedal was diagnosed.I thought pedal was ordered but when I rang them after a number of weeks to find out what was happening I was told they were waiting for manual car of the same age to compare?Rang Skoda head office again who again contacted dealer who in turn said they would ring me-several times.Still waiting.Now you know why i'm after a good dealer.

Wondering if anyone has any reccomendations for Sydney dealership repairs. I've hit a stonewall here on the NSW central coast.
Try Skoda Artarmon.... they have a new service manager for the Skoda department who actually has a mechanical background unlike a lot of others I have met
