assuming the mk4 golf convertible is the same as mk3 - looking to get back into a vw, but it needs new hydraulic cylinders for the roof to work automatically - anyone know ballpark costs and who does this sort of thing in sydney?

Hey folks, I've picked up an S3 and one thing that I'm not used to anymore is having to manually apply the handbrake when I'm parking. In my Tiguan it does it automatically when I turn the engine off. I'm wondering if any one knows if it's possible to enable the same behavior with ODB11?

Been thinking about swapping my Connects2 aux interface for the RCD300 to the Bluetooth model. Was just wondering if any experience with it? Mainly interested in how well it automatically connects when returning to the car.

Had my new Tiguan (MY19) for a few weeks now. Just wondering if the below is normal behaviour or I have messed with a setting?

I have noticed that when putting the car into reverse the camera doesn’t always activate automatically, most times it does work without issue.

Does anybody know how you can automatically activate the hazards when reversing. I've seen trucks & taxi's that do this. I do this a lot manually when delivering in loading docks & shopping centre car parks.

A while ago now, I hosted a short discussion of whether it would be possible to automatically disable the S/S facility on a mk7 when the ignition is turned-on. As those that have this annoying facility will already know, the car doesn't remember the position of the S/S button after the ignition is turned-off...
