Just signed up and excited to be part of a community focused on VW in Australia.

I bought my 2019 132TSI (with 7sp DSG) wagon towards the end of 2024 and am loving it so far. So much so, I've already put over 11,000km on it.

My last car was a 2013 Holden...

After 470k km dsg finally has the hiccups. Averaged 4.39l/100 for last 15k km.
Missing even gears after it warms up. Dealer wanted to pull the gbox apart first before deciding on a fix. <5k
So. Silly me bought another! For not much more but less km.

looking for information in regards to the service intervals and parts required to service the latest 7sp wet clutch gearbox, I have had a search online but have not found anything really to go by.... Can anyone verify what the intervals are and if the fluid and filters are the...

Ok so we have a MY 18.5 7sp 2.0 tsi Passat alltrack, right before they stoped making the diesels.

It has launch control as per most dsgs.

Issue I have, is that when you use launch control, the car takes of fine, like a bat out of hell, then grabs second and the gearbox...

Somehow, I can't believe that VW would not give us to choose the transmission option?

It seems, that the one can have any configuration, as long as it is with the 7sp. DSG.

Then, perhaps they should put 10years warranty on the DSG. What do you guys think?

I want to start servicing my polo myself.
It's got 225000km on it. where do I start and how do I do it?
