Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

    1/18 R36 Passat Wagon in Biscay Blue by Otto-models

    Hi All,
    Thought I'd share my latest addition.
    As you can see in the photos it is an R36 in Biscay Blue.
    Produced by Otto-models in 1/18 ( 265mm long ) , the model is a 'static or kerbside' model as none of the doors, boot or bonnet open.
    It is diecast metal and is quite heavy for a model of this size.
    It is modelled on a MY08/09 version as can be seen by the AC controls, it shows sat nav , and as it is German is in LHD.
    The model also doesn't have a sunroof.
    It presents very well and looks great in this scale.
    A limited run of 2000 have been produced.
    (I found mine through ebay cheapest price/postage cost ) as they are now sold out from Otto-models.com.
    At around $180AUD it maybe similar to other models of this scale, and is of a somewhat rarely modelled car.

      As a Biscay Blue R36 wagon owner I had to have this. I bought mine from Model Cars Too in Sydney. RRP was $160, but the shop owner was a mate so it cost me less.

      He said he can order more in if anyone is interested.

            Fairly old post but yes they do now come in Icelandic Grey.

            Got mine from here and it took a while to arrive but it's legitimate.

            The model was only released in Hong Kong it seems, that being said I am after a Biscay Blue one to match still and am having no luck for a reasonable price.
