The main thing is is that it came down to a simple mechanical failure. Moisture causing failure in 3 flight control sensors led to the plane thinking that it was at a lower angle of attack than it was, causing it to raise that nose higher at a speed too low for that angle of attack, causing the aircraft to stall, and then wing over into the ground...Leading to the demise of a truly gorgeous aircraft.
Those crewman who bailed out have balls of steel. Nothing will come to the pilots about it, and they will keep flying i dare say."If can't get behind your troops, feel free to stand in front of them..."
