If you wanted to buy a VW diesel this would have to be it.
BUT ....
It is only $2500 cheaper than the GTi and misses out on the following:
Alarm system
Red Brake Calipers (very important)
Gti look including side skirts
Tyre pressure sensor
Carpet mats
6 disc CD changer
Amplified (250W) Audio system with 10 speakers
Aluminium pedals
GTI seats (better than sports seats)
Flat bottomed GTI steering wheel
GTI Sport suspension
The combined value of which surely must add up to much more than only $2500.
Personally I'd buy the GTi instead.....
ALSO....
have 2 friends with Sportline TDi's and they struggle to beat 8l/100km in their daily commute. Another friend with a light foot in his DSG GTi does the same .......Current: 2023 MY23 T-Roc R Lapiz Blue + Beats Audio + Black pack 2018 MY19 Golf R manual Lapiz Blue + DAP) 2018 MY18 Golf 110TSI (150TSI) Trendline manual White2014 Amarok TSI Red (tuned over 200kw + lots of extras) 2013 Up! manual Red 2017 Polo GTI manual Black Previous VWs and some others ...

Hmm....you could always put the $2,500 saved into a flash tune and a replacement audio system which includes iPod and Bluetooth phone, with probably enough change left over for caliper paint2015 White German SUV
2013 White German hatch
2011 Silver French hot hatch
2008 TR Golf GT TDI DSG
