Is there any better way of vetting people before they become members?? In the last 3 to 4 weeks there has been a lalrge increase in the amount of spammers coming onto this forum compared to the last 12 months.

At the moment there are some things done to try and ensure only real people who are interested in the community get through... our methods have worked very well for a number of years, sadly it seems the spammers are starting to catch up. There are some new tricks being trialed, we will see how things travel. It's always a hard balancing act so we don't scare off new members.
