Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)

Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Notifications bug..

    Hey admin,

    I have had a "reputation comment" in my notifications for about a month now, and its kinda annoying me.

    The main reason being is everytime i click on VWW, it loads the pages and shows in bold i have 1 new notification (no popup though).

    If i click on the notifcations button (up top) it takes me to 'settings' and says "
    Subscribed Threads with New Posts: (0)

    There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period.
    "

    yet the notification doesnt go away. I've tried logging out with no success, cleared cookies with no success.

    Firstly - any tips to remove it
    Secondly - what'd i score rep for ?

    I have looked into your issue this morning. I'm still not sure why it was doing that, but a little kicking and it now seems to be working as it should.

    My best guess is that there was an old rep score that has been lost to the internets so while the system know it was there it was unable to display it meaning you couldn't view it to make the notification go away. So in answer to your second question... no idea.

    If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

      all fixed now, thanks hawk (and thanks ryan_R for trying to rep me to make it stick again, didnt work though )
