Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.     Everything should be up and running again now... anyone notice the difference?

    Let me know if you run into any problems and I'll get onto them ASAP.

    Google Search Tab up the top?

      Because of the change, everyone will have to re-login, although it should be good from here on out.

      Google search... nope, although that is something that will need to be tweaked to work right.
      Logo... nope, been like that for a little while now...

            Really? When I checked after updating the back end of Tapatalk it made me log in again (using iOS). In any case it should only be a one off.

              Well I've noticed before that posting in mobile mode automatically disables signature, which was a little annoying. Not sure about now.

              edit: looks still to be the same now. And I think the only way to enable it after posting is to switch to the full site, seems like the advanced options aren't there in mobile mode when you edit your post. They're there if you go into advanced mode when you are posting a new reply though.

              This is without Tapatalk btw.

              If you go to the quick style chooser at the bottom of the page you can switch to mobile mode on your computer and test it out.

                My tapatalk wouldn't work until I deleted VWW, found it and logged in again.

                Guess the sticker I ordered a couple days ago will be advertising the wrong address now(even though it directs here)?

                  Nope, new stickers are available now, yours will be one of the new ones I just have to update the images on here

                    Emails not ending up in my VWW folder automatically. Must be the .com.au
                    Some say he was the Stig... all we know is that he drives a VW Transporter.

                      VWW didn't work during the night, bit now its fine, just had to login again with tapatalk.

                      Spotted: new logo when loving in with tapatalk!

                        I am assuming you have rules set in your email to filter things into different folders? In that case yes because things are now coming from a different address.
