images come and go

can anyone tell me why when i post a pic it is there, and later it is not?
my images only show on the threads when i am logged into Picasa Web albums (were i got the pics from) if i'm not logged in they do not appear
got me confused..........

I store all my pics in photobucket and link from there. the only time they dont show here is if I delete the original pic from photobucket

Add to that the Flock Browser to allow batch uploads and on the flly resizing before uploading (which saves times and bandwidth) and it's the perfect combo.

Could be that your Picasa albums are marked as 'Unlisted' so you only see the pictures when you are logged into Picasa. Sounds like cookies - if you close the browser tab/window with Picasa that might log you out by default then the pics won't show up on the forum or anywhere else you've tried linking them.

Check the album properties and make sure it/they are Public. Hope that helps...

had a look and pics are public? still not working unless i.m logged on to Picasa
my have to try photo bucket if i can't sort it out, must be something i'm doing wrong as in some posts pictures are there from Picasa all the time, yet the later pictures i have posted are not (unless logged on??)

There is also the problem that if your work blocks certain sites through there proxy server you will not be able to view it.
