Sometimes it just gets confusing and i think this would be a way to make everything easier. and if your really keen could even have a photo section or aftermath type section.

If people add [SYD] or [MELB] or similar to the start of their thread title it would go most of the way there. I don't think we need to have more than one section for meets.
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
I quite like the idea Shaneth.
Often threads get lost due to an upcoming event in another state.

Exactly what i think Loon. Its quite easy to loose a thread especially when you start to organise a cruise month or so in advance by the time its close if there is no replies it can be pages back.

Yeah would be useful. Had to bump a post last night for that reason. It was suggested a while ago but there wasn't much response...
Another idea might be to have a 'Past Events' section. Once a cruise or whatever has been and gone, lock the original thread with all the planning and chat, then have a new thread with photos etc after. The ECCA forum has both these ideas running pretty well.
I think if the threads were moved into there rightful state it would be alot less confusing.
I've just moved a couple of upcoming things for WA by myself.
Whoever created the thread has the ability to move it and leave a redirect; ie no need to be a mod
If we clean up the current events I think that would be a good start & leave the past events where they are.
