Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

it seems like an escalation of stupidity.
the car was parked in the hotel's approved valet parking spot, so why the cop was handing out a ticket is not clear - cop's fault?
the driver shouldnt have moved the car, even if he wasnt in the wrong - driver's fault
the cop got his foot run over, so you can appreciate he might be a bit hot under the collar, though unprofessional.
to arrest him, throw him on the ground, cuff him and damage the car is excessive and should be subject to professional discipline.
At least all the real criminals out there benefited from having 4 of NYC's best consuming vast resources on this 'menace to society"!!2007 Audi RS4 with: APR ECU Upgrade; JHM Quick Shifter; Milltek Catback and Downpipes; KW V3 Coilovers; Argon Creative Carbon Fibre Splitters

Placing hit foot in front of the wheel was exactly the smartest move. Either communicate to the driver or stand in front of the car.

Indeed, holding the wheel all wrong, no appreciation for weight shifting, didn't even steered to avoid going offroad... ESP should've saved him if he did react at the last second. Nice to see no delay in the airbag going off at the very least.Last edited by Ryan_R; 30-08-2012, 02:37 PM.
