Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Saw a dark grey Bora, I'm assuming it was a 4motion, on Ginninderra Drive today. It had an Oettinger grille and what looked like either a Bora R or Votex front bumper. Never seen a Bora in that colour and I heve never even heard of one in Australia with a Bora R front end.

    ...and a few minutes later I saw Governor22's Bora in Lyneham, then a few minutes after that saw a very nice blue MKVI Golf R.

              Yep Smead, that is the one. It was just about as filthy as it is in your pics too is it owned by a forum member? Seems like whoever owns it they have put the work in, even has R badges.

              I was driving through Lyneham on the way to a Christmas party. Your red Bora stands out.

                @Djork, looks like someone tried to make it look like a Mk IV R32. Interesting that it has VR5 badge on the back.

                Theres a silver bora withe an oettinger body kit and BBS getting around Canberra too that has seen better days
