Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Nice CSG MK6 GTI on the evening commute on Barry Dr, westbound, 545pm. After market rims+exhaust.

    Further up the road, a nice silver Mk4 R32.

    All of us were "tame" as RAPID1 was just ahead of us in the traffic....

      Some may or may not be aware the new Toyota FT86 is scheduled for national release tomorrow. This morning a truckload (literally) of them was unloaded here at Hume at Neal Bates.

        I drove past a truck similar to that last week, coming into Canberra on northbourne avenue. Must be bringing a few in by the looks of it

          Yeah like I said the release is tomorrow, or perhaps Saturday. I have also seen a TRD version being worked on, non turbo though as apparently starter motor currently sits where turbo would go so nowhere to put it.

            Spotted today an RB Roc turning off Monaro Highway onto Hindmarsh around 1:00pm. Nice but I still prefer the VG.

                  Either someone spiked my Coke with LSD or I really did just see a Maybach turning onto Kingsford Smith Drive from Southern Cross Drive...

                  I also saw at about 1pm a very nice black MkI caddy with BBS wheels turning onto Ginninderra Drive near UC, I'm guessing it is the one I saw at CVWC a few months ago, it is simple but oh so droolworthy.

                    Well after taking 3 months to spot my first 3 Rocs today I see two, both white, one with pana roof outside Hyperdome and second plain white going up Erindale Drive this arvo.

                        That caddy is Pete's from CVWC. It's running a K04'ed 1.8t 20v
