Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      Police MK6 GTI

      Watching the local news last night and there was a report of a fool who had been on a week long car jacking spree. The cops finally caught him & chased him down in a stolen Lancer.
      And what did the use for the job? A black VW Golf GTI MK6

          saw a black mk6 gti uc pull over a tradies truck today out the back of Robina. Was almost going to come up next to it to have a chat, glad I didnt now

                Hehe... it's not the first time they've used unmarked VW's! There are pictures of a Jetta or something in QLD in the banner rotation!

                  That's my Jetta, next to an unmarked GTI

                  They've also got a silver 5 door Mk6 GTI seen parked at Roma St, I'll get a picture next time I ride past it.

                      Yep I saw this little beast out at Fernvale before Christmas when we went to have a look at Wivenhoe Dam's gates open. Was in traffic and couldn't stop to take a picture of it along side my R. I reckon the nice policeman would have agreed. He's probably on this forum and has ordered his GTI already LOL

                      I reckon we Qlders should have a competition to see who can get the first photo of it on this forum

                          Dark metallic bluey colour SS Sportwagon with Chevy badges, a boot cage divider and a child on board thingy hanging in the rear windscreen. Note I was not done and this wasn't a camera vehicle.

                                Also, spotted an older Holden Ute (VS) with a white Combi type canopy next to Anzac Ave, yesterday, catching traffic going towards the Bruce Highway.
