This morning on Mitchell Freeway heading north, THE Lambo (the yellow one that got impounded). Overtook me, pulled in front then slowed down. Why do they do that??? (Not Lambos, I mean anybody)

I swear people do that without realising it. Many times I've moved out of the right lane, the person behind sees an open road and steps on the gas, only to slow down to my speed again a few lengths in front.
In fact, sometimes on the longer drives down south I flick the cruise control on, and a car in the next lane will speed up, after a while 'forget' they are driving and slow down, then a minute later 'wake up' and step on it again, over and over like a giant yo-yo next to me. Makes you wonder how alert the people you share the roads with are!! Scary.
