I spotted a MkV Golf in *that* colour, (see post #569) I still don't know what it's called.

Doesn't seem to be a very popular colour but I had this 103TDI w/ Sport Pack as a loan car when my old Golf Mk V TDI was in for warranty work. I like the Sports Pack compared to my dad's 103TDI without it but I prefer the Candy White.
My VW spotting this week has included 4 clueless VW drivers... a Golf VI on Stirling Hwy doing 40 in the right lane, a Tiguan TDI on Kings Park Road also doing 40 (in the 60 zone long before it changes to 40), a New Beetle driving down Leach Hwy with high beams on and a Polo who cut me off as we were coming up to a set of lights and then took off slower than the bus next to us.
I've also seen the [AM A ROCK] Amarok outside Melville VW and a couple of new Touaregs around too, quite like the look of them.

That could well be it, both the colour AND the car! Last time I saw the red 2.0TDI it was turning right off the Kwinana Freeway heading towards Henley Street. You didn't happen to notice a UG Golf passing you in the RH lane on Canning Highway did you?Originally posted by mtj007 View PostAmaryllis Red?MY10 Golf MkVI 103TDI United Grey

It was over a year ago and I only had it for a couple of days - a loan car from Ossie Park VW when my old Golf V was in for service/repairs. I remember it's a 103TDI DSG with Cloth Sport Package, MDI and Bluetooth... Funny I remember that from over a year ago.Originally posted by Frankenstrat View PostThat could well be it, both the colour AND the car! I'm always running up and down Canning Hwy in the Tiguan so I'll keep an eye out for a UG TDI.

This was only a couple of weeks ago I saw the AR 2.0TDI, so it wouldn't have been you driving it but quite possibly the same car.
You're unlikely to see me on Canning Highway during the week unless it's between Henley Street and Kwinana Freeway. But if you do, 1DGY350, give me a wave.

Yeah sounds about right, may have had a "TDI Inside" sticker on the back now that I think about it.
I just saw, well actually, heard it first - Balknac's blk mk 4 R32 turning off Hutton onto Scarb beach road. Only caught a glimpse of the plates so could be wrong. I was sitting at the lights on scarb beach road heading westStage II Scirocco R
