Could depend on whether your insurer has preferred repairers or not. Do they???

I had the situation that the insurer claimed choice of repairer and technically they did I guess BUT the reality was that if I wanted to use my chosen repairer I had to pay the not insignificant extra above their chosen repairer. Good luck

Currently having my T5 Transporter repaired by Brisbane Collision Centre Rocklea , they are replacing the whole side of the van and other repairs , using genuine VW parts . And how do I know they are using genuine you ask ? because VW have been slow to supply the parts and the expected finish date has been pushed back another week because of parts delays . This company have a pretty good reputation , oh and Suncorp are sending their work there a well .
