Hi, I have some good news for all european cars( vw especially). After trying a few VW specialists and dealers, I have found a very smart mechanic( technician and auto electrician.)After going to a vw dealer workshop, and a aircon/ auto electrician expert, and having no luck diagnosing my aircon faults, I was recommended to this new found Guru!
Daniel at Peninsula Autohaus in New st Mornington has been like a breath of fresh air. His ability to diagnose faults, explain the problem, approach to fixing the fault and approximate costs, leaves the vehicle owner at complete ease to know they have lucked onto this Motor Guru. His group of tradespeople are all european vehicle trained technicians, so you can relax knowing you will get the best outcome. I can’t believe that I have spent $500 at two other so- called experts only to be sent away to solve the problem somewhere else.
Well like I said , I was recommended to Peninsula Autohaus, and now my problem is solved, a simple yet non related electrical fault was my demise.
Thanks to Daniel my aircon now works without cutting out, a relatively simple fault ordinarily but because of the over use of electronics for simple tasks became a challenge for the all , except Daniel. Give him a try and mention meggsy, I’m sure you will be happy with his service.
