Polo 9N3 GTI Gearbox Rebuild - Brisbane - suggestions sought

Hi all. The time has come for my 06 9N3 Polo Gti to have a gearbox rebuild as it is getting to the crazy noisy stage..
I was after any recommendations for VW gearbox rebuild in Brisbane area.
I'm sure there is a guru out there, I'm thinking most GTI's would have had gearbox looked at by now.
And believe similar to Mk 4 golf as well.
It's a shame to see mine parked up, I'd like it to live its best life again.
Most grateful for any leads or recommendations.
Also interested if any Brisbane Polo 9N3 Gti owners / ex owners have surplus parts...

Have heard through ringing around that no VW gearbox rebuild parts are in Australia, and its easier to buy another used gearbox, ie roll the VW dice......

Certainly would be cheaper, faster and easier to just fit a used gearbox for sure.

I am sure you can get the parts easy enough but probably not in australia. The 02R is similar inside to nearly all the 4 cylinder cable shift boxes before it
