After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • HELP PLEASE!! With freight of wheels from S.A to Qld

Hello fellow dubsters, is there anybody that can help me get some wheels from Adelaide to Gold coast Queensland?
The seller is happy to drop at either a business address or freight company but i am unable to find someone to do it without costing me an arm and leg So was hoping someone on the forum can help me out please.

    kind regards,
    Dev.

Depends what your budget is but I have used Smartsend. You book it on the web site. You just need to box them and put the size and weight into the form. It calculates the cost. For example I have sent four 17" alloy wheels door to door from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to a suburb of Melbourne for about $55.00 which I reckon is a great price. They are prompt also. I went down to the local Bob Jane and took 4 boxes out of their bin so they cost me nothing more than a bit of driving around.

Hunters E-Go for me, depot to depot is cheapest, but Eden if the sender can't drop them off for you you can get them from your depot to save. Done it with wheels, engines and gearboxes without problems

e-go we have sent really heavy bulky stuff for work for around $50 by road and got from syd to melb next day pretty much. Picked up from our office and delivered to our syd warehouse.
