Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Help Needed in Albury

    Merry Xmas to all...
    Managed to get VR6 bus ready to travel and headed of for QLD late Boxing Day..
    First night stop was to Albury ..
    Just passed Voliet Town and the water temperature suddenly climbed
    from 78c to 120c...
    Steam pouring out rear vent I pulled over..
    Expansion tank was purging excess pressure like a steam train.
    Trucked it to Albury where I've been trying to resolve issue.

    Can anyone recommend a good mechanic or radiator shop in Albury who can test the cooling system...?
