  • I can't believe dealerships still say this stuff...

    A friend recently bought a Golf 90tsi.

    Apparently, while the salesman at Rockdale VW was showing her the car she asked about fuel. He told her it took 95ron "but you only need to put it in every 2nd or 3rd tank".

      Could he be saying you should run it on 98 but you can get away with 95 every other tank

          He definitely meant that the cheap stuff was OK but give it a zing every 2nd or 3rd tank with 95ron.

                  I doubt she had a clue what the difference in price was. She hasn't owned a car or paid for fuel in 7 years. Change of job meant handing back her company car & going private again.

                  On the flipside, the workshop at Rockdale VW gets some good reviews. Certainly a better option than the clowns at Sutherland.
