PPQ Cancelled My 10 VAG Reg Plate Purchase, Too Obscene.....

just thought i'd share this funny story, i think its pretty humorous anyway...

last week i ordered 10 VAG for my golf, ok not the best plate but i was looking for something cheap and thought it could be read as Lo VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group)...

this morning i received a phone call from PPQ saying that they apologise but cannot sell me the plate as its "obscene". a fairly strange conversation ensued but to cut a long story short i thought i have to ask why. the lady on the phone said it "sounds like a ladies private parts". wtf, may be if you're not very tall you might have a low vag but i wouldn't know...

i did then tell her its Volkswagen Audi Group and she laughed. i said someone should complain to VAG that their acronym is obscene...

true story, here's the receipt, yes i have blanked out my details but nothing else...

i like it too but jesus christ where do they find the employees at PPQ? it appears if you put down 5 random letters they would make something of it and say you are complete sex pest that needs locking up...

Gee, I'd have thought most of you were younger than me and would know or maybe it's just that I have adult children in their 20's. It is common slang for 'lady parts' now. Ironically, in Victoria there are VAG Euro plates issued by VicRoads. Always makes my kids laugh that the owners think they're cool...

I had a similar experience because the plate had fap in it. Went for a standard plate which by random chance has vw in ot. Result!
