The Hawk does Melbourne

After almost 15 years working for the same mob I'm moving on to a new job in Melbourne! Starting Monday the 6th I'm going to be a melbournite.

Big changes and a big move but looking forward to it.

The family won't be moving down until after Christmas and while I'll be commuting back for some weekends I'm going to have a bit of free time...

...so I'm looking for things to entertain me any good meets or events happening? Cruises, pub crawls or BBQs?

Vww pub meet 3rd Monday of the month.
Garage cafe in Carlton on a Friday night usually has a few faces you will know.
Is a few hills runs on Saturdays or Sundays, but I'm not really down with who organises those and where they exactly meet
Dovw coming up, sure you know about that one anyway.
Dakdak on a Saturday morning, big air cooler hangs but we often go for a coffee/gander

Not yet, will be staying with a mate for a few months, family coming down after Christmas so I've got plenty of time to look around while I'm down there.

I was a country bumkin for long enough haha. Driving 3 hours each way for a show or meet took its toll.

There is plenty of other meets too. The Friday night meets of late have been a laugh I hear with 1500+ people showing up.
