Its for RENTAL maps for 30 days.

Navman maps are keyed to a passkey on any particular unit I believe and are really hard to get to work on another.

Have tried and hasn't worked You could Google "How to copy Navman maps". I found a forum with instructions that sometimes worked but mostly didn't.

You don't need maps in NZ there is only one main road through whole country ROFL

Ha Ha very funny Hillbilly , I have new Zealand and Australian maps on our two vans multi media headunits the Chinese ones that some put Sh&&t on but they do work . The mapping is IGO Primo and its very easy to copy the maps as they come on a Micro SD card which is easy to copy from .

All good...a friend has a navman with NZ on so we are going to exchange units for a few weeks..

Well according to Navman they use Navtec maps. On the forum I read about this on they couldn't always get copies to work for the reasons I gave.

You probably can get Igo to work as its a different system.

Not all programs on SD cards are easy to copy either. I had a Lowrance boat navigator that had maps on an SD card and the copy wouldn't run in another unit, so whilst some are able to be done, not all will work.
