good news story
Forums tend to be all doom and gloom, so I thought I'd share a pleasant experience.
I noticed over the last few weeks my 2013 Octavia was reluctant to start. Called the dealer to discover that VAG had taken their Skoda contract away (that's another story). So now what?, I asked. Take it to any Skoda dealer they replied. So, with much trepidation I called Solitaire Skoda in Adelaide. What's the problem, they asked, and I explained. Did you buy it from us? No, I replied, thinking here we go. Can you bring it in now? Sure, I said. So I dropped it off and 90 minutes later they called to say all fixed, come pick it up. New Varta battery installed under warranty and car good as new. Now THAT is service. Happy days.
