I remember when i was going to DOVW and only a few Watercooled cars there, there were no MKV's at shows and only a few MK4 Gti's at the show, must have been around 2004.

Also have memories of a GOR Cruise when Josh had his old green? polo 3, wheeling through the twisties

      DOVW 2005
I used to love this car, was my dream car

Another earlier DOVW 2008 maybe ?

It was Brackie, (one of the founding forum members) who put me onto wwatercooled. He lives about 30min from me. Been a while since i have I caught up with him too.

I'm definitely not an original memeber, joined in '08, but wow. Been hanging around some of these watercooled guys since '06. Some of them are like family. Thanks all for the memories. I say we head up to Sydney for Nationals this year. Get real nostalgic

I joined in late 07, but never really posted for the first year or so.
Lucky for me I became friends with Silverdub and Water boy, which then quickly expanded to being part of the family.

I'll have to dig out photos from the first year I attended DOVW before anyone knew me, '07 I think?

                      I remember this place...

Came across the forum in late 2009 when hunting down info on Mk5 GTIs.

I may not of been the biggest contributor to the forum but attended a few cruises and shows.

Two job changes and a mortgage later, still have the GTI. I have been trying to sell it on and off in the last year, but still love it too much to part ways. Unfortunately it rarely gets driven now due to train being the best transport to my current job.

                                Good times!

Some oldies in the days of Brackie.
