Nope, mine is a 2013 build and is included in the recall.

It says on the recall website that it only effects 2013 models which is interesting.

2009-2011 models had the mech recall (which apparently incorperates the oil flush) and now 2013 models have this new recall.

What happens to 2012 models? Guess the owners just have to suffer if it stuffs up?

Maybe they ran out of synthetic oil for 2012

So it just so happens that all 2012 models (according to VW) dont have any mechatronic problems and also used mineral oil as they arent included in the recall...that i know of.

Must of been a good year for them

Does anyone have a MY12 or MY12.5 that is/was included in the mechatronic and/or this new recall?

The recall affects older vehicles. From what I've read it's mainly for cars built 2011 and earlier.

Newer DQ200's apparently's got mineral oil in them even before these recalls.

Yep, daughter's is 2013 on the recall list. Software upgrade is required as well as oil replacement.

As I mentioned pages back before it was hijacked...

I have just done the June recall which already includes the mineral oil. Drives the same, but I don't think it was meant to change the drive of the car, just eliminate the false neutrals.

The 2012 not included in recalls is indeed interesting. I wonder if the 2013 built cars affected are only of specific models. Just Polos, Golf MK7's, or all cars with the DQ200?

If anyone goes to the links provided and inserts their Vin number it will tell you if yours is included.

My 2010 is not although others in that year are, probably because mine had the mechatronics recall done last month and they haven't had it done.

Just booked my MY13 Polo GTI with DQ200 gearbox in for recall gearbox oil change next Thursday. Checked my VIN online and then called the VW aus phone number, they called my nearest dealer and let them know what needed to be done, easy.

I put my vin on their website checker.it show I m not affected in all recall. How do they classify? mine is MY13.5/14 Polo gti

Has it got a 6 or 7spd DSG Only 7spd are in the recalls

My car is 7 dsg.I rang vw customer care twice and do the vin check online myself still said not affected
