What a morning!
Drop my kids at school, turn onto road doing 40kmh, car up my backside immediately. Get into 60 zone and he's still itching my ar$e, merge with 80kmh traffic, trying to cross three lanes to get to the right hand turning lane, politely waiting for Mr Police Car to pass...

As I try to merge behind the bright yellow marked police car, the maniac behind me crosses lanes and accelerates cutting me up as I too try to merge. His headlights in my rear view mirrow flashing at me one too many time.
But I get into the right lane...

As we turn right, he's along side- gesturing and looking pretty mad. In fact he hasnt seen the bright yellow car...

So Canberra's finest has seen all this in his rear view mirror and pulls us both over, and gives mr YID 23C a nice pep talk..."you should let some one in - I saw him indicate along side my vehicle. Do you understand the road rules?"...

The other day it was weird. Got on the Hume about 10.30pm near wangaratta Friday night. Speed on from the on ramp, Nek minnit I'm on the right slowly overtaking and there's someone up by bum. I increase to 120 to overtake and pull to the left. Cop car that was tailgating the **** out of me (about 5m at 120) shoots past at probly 150 plus... Random as

Sorry you are incorrect. As long as you have exterior rear vision mirrors you do NOT need to be able to see out your rear window.

EG vans with solid rear doors, buses with the same, VW vans etc.

Some of us don't have a "need" to understand or know about every single road rule, but I guess there has to be one "individual" out their who likes to be a complete "D***".

I'm from NSW...don't know what they do in banana land, last I recall in NSW its at the discretion of the Police officer.

I don't know EVERY road rule either but as a long time Caravanner I know that one which applies nationally as you certainly cant see much from your interior mirror with a large van on the back. I didn't get a ticket in the time I was in NSW either. Selfie is it. LOL
