Well VW again never cease to amaze me with their callous treatment of their customers and the money we spend , yes I know some of you will be put off by my rant but this one is up there with the way we were treated last year with our failed auto . I put in a request through VW Customer care a simple question , why is there no fuse layout chart inside the fuse box or for that matter even in the 451 page owners book !!! . Well a simple reply with as much tack as a bull in a china shop ,I asked for an explanation and this what I received
Further to my email below, I have been advised by our Technical Department that this is not information that we have readily available to us.

So VW did not supply a fuse layout chart but they expect me to PAY for the information WTF gives , they can produce a 451 page booklet to reduce the risk to VW of someone suing them for not doing things by the book so to speak . But a simple fuse layout chart is not supplied . The owners book tells you that due to continuing development of this vehicle at this time of the book being printed no fuse layout is available . Ummm lets see T5 released around 2004 we are at 2013 so are we to assume they have completely changed every single fuse position from the 2004 to the 2010 model . No I don't think so I will admit that the difference between a base model and a top model would include dozens of more circuits and can bus but to trot out some codswollop that due to development they leave it out is a load of crap . If they put fuse position charts in both our previous T5's one from 2004 and second 2005 then why not the 2010 onwards , but wait there is more the book also tells us that if a fuse was to blow you can take your car to the nearest VW dealer who will replace it for you so the dealer knows which fuse goes where and they obviously have an up to date layout . So why don't VW send owners a chart after the supposed "development" time has passed . Maybe I should go for a drive out into the country and replace a fuse with a blown one and get them to send the Roadside assist to fix it at their cost . END OF RANT now someone pass me the Tylenol . Oh last thing I know this sounds petty but its the principal you pay upwards of $40000 to $70000 for a vehicle and they treat you like this pay pay pay .
