Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

hmmmm sweet. i've been wanting a smaller board but unfortunately the weather at buller this last season couldnt justify the expenditure. i'd love a nice stiffer board @ 153cms or so. like, really damn stiff.
to be honest i didnt even get my money's worth out of my season pass ($1400).
dad's shouting me a trip to niseko (hopefully) in january. him and all his mining buddies are flying from indonesia to japan. should be nostalgic as all hell.

i'm hope for a few days (work) in Japan in February, so will tack on a few days in the snow as well.
I'm struggling with my next holiday though.
I want to go to Canada probably Jan 2011, but thats gunna cost me around $30k all up, or maybe switzerland which will be around $25k, or perhaps a week in thredbo and a week in falls creek ($22k).
anybody want to lend this charity some well deserved cash?
in the meantime, if you like Academy let me know as I'm friends with Shay Paxton who is the Aussie distrbutor.
I also strapped on a set of SP Fastec bindings which are great!!

depends rocket. Ive got a family of 6, and we tend to stay in style.
for example my trip in augusts costs, in round terms:
airfares $ 4,000
vehicle rental $ 1,400
accommodation $12,000
lift tickets $ 3,000
equipment hire $ 1,000
that budget doesnt include restaurants, souvenirs etc2007 Audi RS4 with: APR ECU Upgrade; JHM Quick Shifter; Milltek Catback and Downpipes; KW V3 Coilovers; Argon Creative Carbon Fibre Splitters

Even with all my own equipment, if I multiplied my Austrian ski holiday (only one week) from 2005 by 6 I'd get a LOT more than $25k
