Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Too true - I had a great time with a mate's Series 1 (mid '70s) Fiat 127 back in the mid '80s driving through the hills north of Melbourne. It only had a 903cc engine (33kW 64Nm) and 135 section tyres but that just meant it couldn't torque steer and had super sharp handling.

That's why the MX-5 still sells as it is all about balance.

I hope Subyota does well - there needs to be more cars like this

Full credit to Toyota for acknowledging the problem and addressing it. An example of kaizen in action.

I would have one in white as well, with the black highlights and under tray, the back highlights in the wheels and the black eyeliner around the tails... In my eyes it is the bomb... Beeing the ex Subaru guy however, i wouldn't mind getting a close up at that...

                          Front looks kinda cool.
Rear looks like a gay celica.
In total looks like a supra.

The funny thing is that a lot of Supra owners removed the rear wing to be different.
