    Ferdinand Alexander Porsche - designer of the 911 - dies at age 76

    I know this is a Golf thread, but none the less worth the respect

    Porsche has announced that Ferdinand Alexander Porsche – grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, son of Ferry Porsche and designer of the iconic 911 – passed away today, April 5, at the age of 76. He died in Salzburg, Austria of unknown causes.

            Changing the shape of the 911 would be commercial suicide. It's one of the main reasons a lot of people buy a 911.

            Use the Boxster and Caymen for design creativity.
