Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey I have been trying to contact STANTON for a few days but his inbox is full so I cant. Is there any way apart from posting in the forums to get PM's through?

    I believe you can actually choose to sent the message via email.

      The ability to send a user an email can be turned on and off by each user, so it may not be an available option.

      While we will never give out people's email details, if it's particularly urgent/important, you can always send your PM to ad Admin or Moderator who can send it on your behalf via email to that user. Just make sure you include contact details including your phone & email so the end user can actually get back to you.

      By way of disclaimer, of course we cannot guarantee that they will respond and if we get hundreds of requests can't guarantee they will all be processed immediately, but we will always help out where we can.

      If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
