To all you car fanatics out there, I have a favour to ask - please vote for a fellow car enthusiasts ride in the Just Cars 'rate my ride' contest. Grant was left a paraplegic after a surfing accident 3 years ago - he has spent a huge amount of his time since then building his custom 1968 Twin turbo Chev V8 powered Mercedes - a project that has been absolutely inspirational to follow and is in line for an entry into the upcoming summernats.

So if you're on facebook please vote for Grant Boxall's 1968 Twin Turbo Mercedes W108 - if he wins the contest, he will get $2500 to go towards the $4000 he needs to transport his car from Perth to Canberra for the Summernats. Please 'like' the contest and then vote for his car if you can. I know that there are already some members from here who have cars entered so please do not feel obliged to vote for a non-vw! But if you haven't already voted it would be great if you would condider supporting Grant.
