"Quarantine workers examining inbound overseas mail at Australia Post sorting offices also stopped work.
Mr Tull said this could lead to potential ongoing delays in the delivery of mail."
Maybe USPS aren't telling porkies after all.
Oh, that's interesting stuff!! Good find. So Australia Post are GUILTY
Okay, so who should I be contacting for my parcel being "lost"?
I'm fairly sure it would have arrived by now (Left US 17 July apparently) , and I've read somewhere USPS don't use ships any more.
Have you phoned Australia Post about it? Call 137678 and you'll get to talk to someone, they may have more scan info than what is showing up on the website tracking, they did with mine.... They seem pretty helpful, i'm sure they'd point you in the right direction if they can't help...

Yeah many times
They said to contact the seller to follow it up but I've got a seller which is not doing anything or replying to me.
That sucks mate, how about contacting USPS? I did, they took a few days to reply and didn't have much to say though. Keep hassling your seller, he'll get sick of it eventually and do something about it if he hasn't done yet..

I just got my parcel today, took exactly 1 month!
How did you contact usps? via phone or email?
I've tried using their contact system but you need an American address to be able to contact them.
I done it through email, i think i made up an address and phone number just to get through to someone! Got me nowhere though. Can't believe yours is still not here... Was it spacers you ordered?
How are you guys going with your orders? Are they still stuck at customs? I have been waiting for a parcel from germany for 2 months now and still no sign of it. Then again smaller things from the uk have arrived in no time!
I am getting seriously frustrated because the things in that parcel won't be replaceable!
Then again the last parcel came via 'air mail' and took 4 months to arrive!?!?
Better to resurrect an old thread than start a new one...
I've been waiting 2 1/2 weeks for an item from the states, as its not fully registered it only shows the last scan in the distribution center. I had stupidly made the assumption that a mail service called 'First Class' meant something and was not another name for basic post with no external tracking and even the signage service they say you get is not continued in Australia.
Its not been that long and could still turn up, but the wait is painful and not having insurance or or tracking on the item makes me wonder if its soon to go up on ebay.
I feel like a whinger for only having waited 18 days...
