What's your favourite excuse for this current delay?
Here's mine.
We have been advised by the postal administration of Australia that the Puyehue-Cordón Caulle volcano eruption on June 4th, 2011 in Chile; has disrupted air transportation to, from and within Australia and New Zealand region. The Australian Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC) continues to monitor the volcanic activity. As of July 26th 2011, airspace continues to be affected and mail processing will be impacted as a result of the disruption to air services until further notice.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your business.
USPS are normally pretty good, but had some new audio equipment sent with them on 12-07 which only arrived yesterday, so if anyone is experiencing any delays, be patient

- On the lookout for another E30 325i Coupe, Manual (red would be nice)...
Also USPS is simply the United States Postal Service - good old regular mail , same as Aussie Post - NOT a priority service.
It is, but they do offer Priority and Express, same as Australia Post. Priority International should be 6 - 10 days Express International should be 4 - 6 days. We pay extra for it, so it is really frustrating! Not much i can do so i'm trying to be patient! Sort of good to know that i'm not the only one!!
What's your favourite excuse for this current delay?
Todays excuse is
''The strike was with the staff from the Australia quarantine and inspection services because of that there is a delay with all mail coming to Australia. Lets Hope that it will be better by now and the packages will arrive soon. The are sitting in cusome in Australia''
I have had a quite few ships from US via USPS and UPS, I think its well worth the extra coin for using the same carrier from door to door, ie UPS rather than pony express that is USPS / AUST post.

As I wrote before, I got the same status updates (processed through sort facility, etc.) after 2 days from posting by the seller, then for weeks no updates until the parcel eventually arrived after 5 weeks! I guess, better to get it late than never... so don't stress too much, you will get it delivered eventually
