Me neither. The problem is the inequality in the system. If you are unable to afford paying for your energy wastage the gov is happy to give you your money back.
As I see it is there is no incentive for anyone to change anything. If you cant afford it then you wont be out of pocket. If you can afford it then youre well off and you probably dont care so much about the increased cost of living.
So we get a system where people who are earning good money are just passing that down the line to low income earners with the gov pocketing the cream off the top. If the system is designed to back people & industry into a corner so that they change then I cant see how that will eventuate. I think they will just fuel inflation and inflation feeds on its self.
