And to think I almost went down town yesterday 20 minutes before the flash flooding started in toowoomba. I would never have believed it, its been crazy.

Those videos are crazy, and theres heaps of photos here Welcome to Facebook

My thoughts are with everyone who hasnt been as lucky as our family. Definately be carefull, ive heard it might be moving down to NSW/VIC, hope everyone stays safe and that noones precious dubs are destroyed, but at the end of the day they are just cars. Hopefully no more lives are taken.

Not good news at all guys. Ive got family in Caboolture and further up that way. My Aunties place is just off the Bruce behind the Pie shop, luckily shes on a hill so shes watching all the gushes of water go by. Also have a lot of friends up there around Redcliffe, Hervey Bay, Bundy... They are all safe for now, but doesnt stop me from worrying about them. Stay safe QLD dubbers !!!

Well that's my bike route gone

The Mexican almost went under, security came running up to me at Toowong Village telling me to move it as they had to close the lower level of the car park. Now I'm in two minds as to leave it in my basement or park it on the sloping street.

The news from Toowoomba really saddens me, I'm lost for words.

Ask yourself, do i need more AWD softroad goodness?

The answer will always be a resounding yes.

All the best QLD dubbers, lets hope it really backs off overnight. The weather boffins are saying that it is going to slow down over the next 24hrs. Lets hope it minimises the damage.

                      All the best

All the roads here in Hervey Bay have been cut for a couple days now, absolutly no flooding in the area, just no-one can get in or out.

People have been panick buying food too, the petrol stations are all out of fuel, LPG is the only stuff left (not for much longer )

Hope you Southern guys don't get it to bad.

The rain is meant to ease but Thursday will see the peak of floods with level expecting to exceed that of the 1974 floods.

Last I heard, Wivenhoe was at 180%... Another 40% and we'll be up **** creek, literally.

Another 1.5m (or similar weather for the next day or 2) and we would have been in for a treat

The level at Wivenhoe is going down though as the rain has pretty much stopped so it looks like there was a lot of fluff and scaremongering going on.

maca, unfortunatley what I am reading/hearing is that give it another day and a half of rain and Wivenhoe is no use as it will be over the top. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the area, and I thought bundy was bad.
