      • yeah not to step on any toes, but as a community, there are some characters that are part of this place, and have been, for the last few years. i reckon preeny is one of them- not simply just posting banter in the general section, but contributing by way of his mechanical knowledge and drag racing experience, as well as contributing to some pretty meaty conversations in the diesels section, too, which earns points in my book- some people on VWWA wont even test drive a diesel car before ripping on them as if they have any sort of idea what they're talking about.... at least preeny is much more than a keyboard warrior, what with coming to meets etc as well.

hopefully the ban isnt a permanent thing- sometimes, people have a bad day/ week, and an internet forum can be a pretty ''harmless looking'' place to vent sometimes. he might have been out of line, but he's part of the VWWA family, he's a respected-by-many member, he was out of line, but he's one of our own. i really hope that he isnt ostracised just because he said a few swear words once in a blue moon- i hope he's allowed to rejoin the community which he goes a fair way out of his way [physically, too] to be a part of.

        that's just my 2c.

anyway- back OT. is that black mk4 the 1.8t quattro? that's sick. everything about that car is just so effing clean. it's JUST the kind of subtle mods that a conservative person like me would still say ''yes'' to.

Doesn't make a difference, you can't abuse people on VWW and regardless of how many posts you make it doesn't give you the right to do that, even forum sponsors have been infracted for this kind of abuse in the past. It was a single infraction based upon the abusive post that I left there, no moderator has the right to permanently ban someone anyway. And the fact that someone as involved as himself is willing to reduce themselves to that level makes it even more dissapointing as you'd probably all agree.

And it seems to be an unfortunate trend at the moment, now get back on the topic or PM me about the issue you're having, its that simple.

no, Delta HF turbos are well know for blowning stuff once they have been played with, tranferboxs and gearboxs are very common to brake!

I almost got one about 14 years ago but was warned off by a few mates who own them (both blown transferbox's) so i ended up buying an Pug 405 Mi16x4 ....and guess what i broke within a month!!!!!!! (1800 pound tranferbox!)
