Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

      • Alcantara wears better, and is easier to maintain, than leather. If yours wears out and gets sticky, then I'm sorry to say it's not real Alcantara.

I like the idea, but it just looks misproportioned.

Yeah I can agree with that a bit. The limitation there is using the Corvette chasis I'm guessing. But I reckon you have to give something retro some decent presence.

I saw that on St Kilda rd this morning. I couldn't work out if it was a chop job or not cos it looked new... Now I know, not my cup of tea but it sounded nice.

Don't even know what my steering wheel is covered in anymore & its right in front of me! Far out!

Maybe I should start seeing someone, cause I'm loosing my mind.

But then again, I still know that VW's most powerful production car is still slow!

                                How is that even related?

And the Bugatti Veyron is pretty damn fast if you ask me!
