Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

It is a pretty cool photoshopped image... Obvious give away is the smoke! At speed it would be blowing back, and down, and would be dispersing and not so dark and dense (and why is the back side of the smoke stack smudged?). Other things that stand out are the static drive pistons and wheels that have just been blurred. And of course the car in the foreground and train in the back ground shouldn't both be completely in focus at the same time. There should also be a yellow reflection in the bottom half of the boiler.

The comment was "photoshopped or not" so not obvious to everyone apparently. I was simply clarifying it was definitely a photoshop...

As awesome as an alcantara wrapped steering wheel is, I had one of my very first sports wheels reskinned after the original leather wore out.

The material doesn't last very long before it starts going flat, horrible & then starts sticking to your hands.

Still nice at the start though!
